Mayke Rademakers has appeared as soloist in numerous recitals, chamber music concerts, broadcasts and solo concerts in the Netherlands, Austria (Wiener Musikverein), Italy, Germany, Norway, England (London) and the USA (Aspen Festival). Critics have praised her for her sensitive and musical playing. She has been compared to Jacqueline Dupré more than once.
In recent times, Mayke and her duo-pianist Matthijs Verschoor were awarded the silver medal by the Societé Academique Arts –Sciences-Lettres in Paris for their dedication to French music.
Conductor Kenneth Montgomery, with whom she performed the famous Cello Concerto by Edward Elgar, said about her: "The concerts we gave together were of the highest quality. Her mastery, her extraordinary musicianship and control of the instrument are very impressive."
